India is corrupt due to opaque institutions, be it individual, family, social, commercial or political –legislative, executive, judicial and media. The dealers in these deals do not want the deals to see any light or be shown in any light. Every institution wants immunity security for itself and transparency for others. Some institutions which claim to be vanguard of freedom oppose transparency why?

I dont thik transparency will be an issue for India’s growth, it has very insignificant if not no significance on growth of the economy. And it is completely unjustifies that institutions are fihting to be opaque… I think indian cos are more and more transparent in the lines of western economies (but still even western economies are not cent % transparent). I think India is in the right path & with regulations like ‘right of information being passed’ India is headed in the right direction.
