Want To Know About The Tourist Package Given By Maharashtra Government Or Mumbai Travel Agents?

We three will be there for a week at mumbai thane. we want to visit aurangabad ajanta, yellora caves and shirdi. i want to know the safest tourist package from mumbai to aurangabad and shirdi. i want to know the details of package given by maharashtra government or any travel agents to covver these areas including accommodation and travel. how many days it will take and the package cost to cover these areas. anybody please guide.

I do not think, you will get any government or otherwise holidays packages for a week. At the most you will get “Ashtavinayaka Packages ” – a tour which visits all 8 Ganeshas in and around Pune. Very popular but very rushed. Unless you are too devout and religious minded, stay away.
Ask around in Thane for private vehicle operators. Specify them about your travel plan ( Aurangabad – Deogiri / Daulatabad fort, Ellora caves- is a good option and requires about max 3 to 4 days.). You can visit Shirdi while returning from Aurangabad,too. Negotiate about the fares and toll taxes and night charges of driver. This is easier travel plan for you instead of looking for a package.
Do not worry too much about accomodations. There are plentiful of hotels in all categories in Aurangabad. MTDC runs few hotels in Aurangabad as well as Ellora. Enquire at MTDC counters or office in Mumbai – Churchgate. You will find MTDC counter in Dadar near Pritam Dhaba,too. Else visit the website.
This is almost peak of summer season in these areas. Be careful when out in the open. Drink plentiful of water always and keep hydrated yourself.
