Neil Fairbrother scored hundreds in each session of a day for Lancashire against Surrey at The Oval in 1990.
Fairbrother’s final score was 366.
He came out to bat on the third day of the match, following the dosmissal of Gehan Mendis, with Lancashire on 184/2 in reply to Surrey’s mammoth 707/9 dec., to join Michael Atherton at the crease.
Fairbrother scored 100 from 102 balls before lunch; added another 108 from 109 balls by tea; and a further 103 from 110 balls by stumps.
The next day he took his score on to 366 from 407 balls, striking 5 sixes and 47 fours.
