Senior Cricket Players Should Have Give Their Resignation From India Team. Are You Agree With It ?

Answer #1

NO NEVER
some people may think they have had their share of the limelight and now they need to give the youngsters a chance and others may think that they are not playing well so they should retire
but why?????
These “SENIORS” have anchored india to a win so many times
RAHUL DRAVID AND SACHIN TENDULKAR HAVE SAVED INDIA’S PRIDE SO MANY TIMES SO WHY AXE THEM NOW OR ASK THEM TO RETIRE
ITS THEIR WISH
LET THEM DECIDE

Players should be selected on the basis of their performance and form by the selection committee irrespective of their age and seniority. As long as a player keeps perfoming, he should be in the team. Once he becomes ineffective due to age, he would be dropped automatically by the selectors. If they themselves read the writing on the wall and decide to retire, it would be the most respectful exit for them.

no i think that the seniorrs should not resign as they have done so much for the team in the past decade.everyone goes though a lean patch some time or the other and it is just unlucky that all the seniors are going though it at the same time their acheivements in the last years cannot be ignored they should be given a chance to recuperate it is hard enougk for them to perform under so much pressure without us criticizing them and asking them to hand in their resignation for every little thing once they hit their fom i am sure that no one can stop them.we have to be supportive and encourage them instead of criticizing them

Every one of us know that we have very young and promising team with loads of talent. But we can’t neglect seniors. After all they have given some wonderful moments to indian cricket.
There should be proper way to handle all senior cricketers in the team.we can’t betray them.

Do you really think it would make any difference, ok the selectors can drop them if they want but if they quit and show that they FEAR being axed thats why they’re retiring?, every1 of us would know that so why show this hypocrisy over so called “retiring with respect” label, I don’t think that will give much respect but prove that they got defensive for what they already saw coming!! so what’s the point! let them keep testing themselves till they have sprit and enthusiasm for the game. It’s upto them.

No, Dravid and Kumble did great in this recent irani trophjy
Dravid hit 46 and 69 and took 3+ catches while kumble took 5 wickets which were crucial.
I believe Sachin will come back with a flashy game and will show seniors are just as good or better than youngsters.
Age discrimination is wrong…

lol then they would have to sell oranges on crates in the fruit market. And you know they dont want to do that. Therefore they can’t leave the team unless their next generation of family members are either sent away to England to study or in prominent positions. Look at Tendulkar, i bet he has made many of his nephews and nieces and his own children graduates of Oxford/Harward. The bloke roams in a ferrari and no one wants to pay for its lease/repair work every month. :) cheers
