Corruption in created by ruliing politicians. To clean up our political system is the most important. Any uneducated person can become a Minister in India/States. There should be some qualification fixed for an MP/MLA to become a minister. Even to become an MP one should be a graduate at least who has attended regular class. Not just a fake certificate. Now a days there is specific subjects in all Universities. Political parties should have an idea at the time of selecting the candidature for election. Such and Such person if elected would be such and such minister. Then there should be law to recall a MP or MLA if their performance is unsatisfactory and if there is suspician that he has involved in corruption.
Then mere education level alone cannot root out corruption. When there is a corruption, such person should be suspended forthwith. The law should be suitably amended. There is no soft corner for such corrupted people by any political parties. We have a 100 crores people in India. If not one person, put another person there. The MPS and MLA should have the fear that he will be removed by the electorates by recall machinery and suspension by Prime Minister/Chief Miniaster/Governor, if involved in corruption.
Further, there should be cut in their privileges. MPS and MLAs can talk any thing any where. There is no control over their actions/talk because they have immunity from various action. Police will not take action against them even if they commit criminal acts. So privileges of MPs and MLAs should be codified and they should be treated at par with the any Civil Servant.
Disclosure of wealth of MPs and MLAs and their blood relations, before election and after completion of their term should be monitored minutely and seriously.
