Income earned in India is taxable in India. It does not matter you worked as employee for 1 day or 1 year.
For both the residents in India or non-residents in India, income not subject to tax is Rs. 1,50,000. Both pay tax at same rate. However, if you are resident in India for that year, you must report your worldwide income. Read this http://mytaxes.in/index.php?topic=108.0

It depends on the income earned by the NRI in India. There are slabs and certain deductions. It is computable only if we know the exact income of the NRI.
