Fed up from Joint family politics. Please help you have seen this closely and managed it well. Married for 5 years now and have a child. Been through a family where no family politics existed. My parents are simple and straight foward people. In the intial days it was my Mother in law who tried to have control over me completely due to her insecuries and my indepence bcoz of working. I had my set of confrontations with her without my husband’s support who is complete family man devoted to his mother from his soul. Then after my son born my husband’s bro got married and her wife entered to our life. She is a housewife and since day 1 played all kind of politics and manipulations to win over my MIL and highlight mistakes in all my household chores. I am so pissed off with her doing all thsi and top of that copying me in every aspect. I understand there is so much to achieve in life. i just need peace of mind and stay aways from this as this leads to tension b/w my husband n me. he will not get separated from his family. So i need to cope up with all this still maintaining my level in teh family. please help. i feel so stressful and pissed off manaing office, home, kid and politics…………..
