for Pilgrimage, choose the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Siva or visit Tirupati, the temple which receives the largest amount of donations world wide.
Looking for river rafting you can go to Sikkim or other north-eastern states.
Be different, go to the Wagha border check post and see the change of guard, while you can see the Golden temple at Amritsar.
You can go to Taj Mahal, the so called symbol of love and the world top most wonder.
I did not mention, Kerla’s back waters, as there are many who have already said about it.
Its not where in India you go, it is also important to understand, what would be the weather like when you go there. Is it what you want it to be. when you get time a particular place may not be the right choice, just because of the weather. so choose carefully and plan accordingly.
